Merilukion miehistön lopullinen sijoitus purjehduskilpailussa oli 3.sija. Osallistuimme myös ympäristökilpaan ja pyrimme omalta osaltamme kiinnittämään huomiota Itämeren suojeluun omalla toiminnallamme. Turun Suomalaisen Yhteiskoulun lukion merilinja kiittää lämpimästi koululaivamme kapteenia Kimmo Hotasta hyvästä päällikkyydestä ja opastuksesta kilpailun aikana. Miehistömme keski-ikä oli koko kilpailun nuorin ja teimme parhaamme niin purjehduksen, opiskelun ja ympäristönsuojelun suhteen. Kiitämme myös Suomen Purjelaivasäätiötä hienon purjehduskilpailun järjestämisestä ja kaikkia tapahtumien järjestäjiä Hangossa ja kotikaupungissamme Turussa.
