Kilpailu päättyi 00.00 keskiyöllä keskiviikon vastaisena yönä. Sijaintimme on päättymishetkellä 59¤35´342N 021¤3`.260E. Suomen leijona sijaitsee noin 20 mailin päässä ja Utöseen on matkaa 14 mailia. Purjehdimme 36 tuntia yhteen menoon.
Kilpailun teki osaltamme haasteelliseksi alkumatkan täysi tuulettomuus ja suunnaltaan vaihteleva, pääasiassa täysin vastainen erittäin heikko tuuli. Emme ehtineet kiertää Suomen leijonaa ja saavuttaa maaliksi tarkoitettua Fårmansbodenia.
Osallistuimme myös ympäristökilpaan. Sen merkitystä ei tarvinnut erikseen korostaa. Koko matkan aikana sinilevälautat eivät kertaakaan hävinneet näkyvistä. Itämeri oli seilaamallamme merialueella kauttaaltaan levämassan peitossa.
Ympäristökilpaan kuului veden ja kaasun säännöstely, jätteiden lajittelu ja ympäristöystävällisten valintojen tekeminen.
Ruokaostosten teossa huomioimme paikallisuuden ja suuret pakkauskoot, pesuaineissa ympäristöystävällisyyden. Roskia ei koskaa heitetä Lokilta mereen , harmaa vesi menee myös septitankkiin ja septitankki tyhjennetään aina maissa.
