W\u00e4in\u00f6 Aaltonen School is a primary school for pupils from 1st till 6th grade. In the finnish educational system this means ages from 7 till 12.<\/p>\n

The school principal is Mrs. Tiina Paappa. In our school we have 18 class teachers, two special teachers, three special class teachers. Students welfare supports students wellbeing at school ( a psychologist, a nurse, a curator and a psychiatric nurse).<\/p>\n

We also have four groups of preschool children in our building and groups of morning and afternoon clubs for young pupils. Our kitchen serves a warm lunch to pupils and teachers every day.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

We have had special classes of English language and culture over 25 years.Today they are called CLIL- classes (content language integrated learning).<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

Total amount of pupils is about 420.<\/p>\n

We are located on the beautiful isle of Hirvensalo about six kilometres from Turku city center.<\/p>\n
