{"id":20,"date":"2025-01-21T14:25:21","date_gmt":"2025-01-21T12:25:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.edu.turku.fi\/steam\/?page_id=20"},"modified":"2025-10-01T10:42:04","modified_gmt":"2025-10-01T07:42:04","slug":"green-steam-ecosystems","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/blog.edu.turku.fi\/steam\/green-steam-ecosystems\/","title":{"rendered":"Green STEAM ecosystems"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>About the G-STEAM Project<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>G-STEAM (Green STEAM Ecosystems) is a collaborative project co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme, aimed at enhancing<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>school education through the integration of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) with a strong emphasis sustainability.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>teacher competence in STEAM.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>local STEAM ecosystem building.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Running from October 2022 to September 2025, the project brought together a diverse consortium of educational institutions, universities, and regional authorities across Finland, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Objectives and Goals<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project\u2019s objectives included a marked expansion of STEAM in participating schools and regions, improved teacher abilities in sustainable STEAM through specific green STEAM training, and a network of four functioning STEAM ecosystems in the Baltic Sea region.
