The rest of the deck is then spread out<br \/>\nfacedown to create a \u201cfishpond\u201d between the players.<br \/>\n\u2022 Before starting the game, all of the players put any pairs they<br \/>\nhappen to have in their hand down and earn a point for each<br \/>\npair.<br \/>\n\u2022 Each player gets a turn to ask another player if they have a<br \/>\nparticular card. For example, on you turn, if you have a card with<br \/>\nfive dots, you would ask your opponent if they also have a five<br \/>\ncard. If they have a five, they give you the card. If they don\u2019t have<br \/>\na five, they say, \u201cGo fish!\u201d If you get a five from the pond, you put<br \/>\nthe pair out in front of you. If you don\u2019t get a five, you keep the<br \/>\ndrawn card in your hand. Play continues until all the cards are<br \/>\npaired.<br \/>\n\u2022 Players get one point for each pair of cards. The player with the<br \/>\nmost points wins the game.<br \/>\n\u2022 You can use chips or a ten frame to keep track of points. One chip<br \/>\nfor each pair.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Variation:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>One More Than<\/em>&#8211; play with a deck of cards 0-9. Players ask for a<br \/>\ncard that is one more than a card in their hand. For example, if<br \/>\nyou have a three card in your hand, then you ask your opponent<br \/>\nfor a card with four.<\/li>\n<li><em>Tens Go Fish &#8211; <\/em>This game is just like regular Go Fish, but with a twist.
