{"id":638,"date":"2020-06-15T08:59:47","date_gmt":"2020-06-15T05:59:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.edu.turku.fi\/scienceed\/?p=638"},"modified":"2020-09-25T13:40:07","modified_gmt":"2020-09-25T10:40:07","slug":"create-your-own-underwater-vulcanoe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.edu.turku.fi\/scienceed\/2020\/06\/15\/create-your-own-underwater-vulcanoe\/","title":{"rendered":"Create Your Own Underwater Vulcanoe"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"en\"><span title=\"\">What you need to do your own underwater vulcanoe is <em>(maybe not as good looking as the real Hawaiian below)<\/em>:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"en\"><span title=\"\">A large container<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"en\"><span title=\"\">A glass \/ small vase \/ beaker, preferably with a small neck or collar for easier attachment of threads<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"en\"><span title=\"\">Yarn \/ string or steel wire<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"en\"><span title=\"\">Water<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"result-shield-container tlid-copy-target\"><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"en\">Food Colour<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span title=\"\">Tie the cord \/ steel wire into the collar of the small container.<\/span> <span title=\"\">In the large container you pour cold water.<\/span> <span title=\"\">In the glass \/ vase \/ beaker you pour as hot water as you can (think of the risk of explosion with boiling water in glass!)
