An Interview with Our English Teacher, P\u00e4ivi Riihel\u00e4<\/p>\n
We interviewed our teacher P\u00e4ivi Riihel\u00e4 and we asked a few questions about her past life and her working life.<\/p>\n
She plays Pokemon Go with her five-year-old son and she follows blogs. P\u00e4ivi also said that if she had more free time, she would like to learn new languages.<\/p>\n
P\u00e4ivi is a language teacher and she teaches English, Swedish and Italian.<\/p>\n
She holds a Master\u2019s degree in Arts.<\/p>\n
Before going to university she studied Foreign Trade in a Commercial college.<\/p>\n
She grew up in the countryside with her brothers. P\u00e4ivi says she was a nice teenager and she wasn\u2019t really interested in school but later she realized that it\u2019s important to study.<\/p>\n
She said that her dream job as a teenager was to be a travel guide or a flight attendant.<\/p>\n
In P\u00e4ivi\u2019s opinion the positive sides about her job are her students, colleagues, and that she can teach subjects that she likes.<\/p>\n
The negative sides about her work are the early mornings, when she worries about work-related problems at home, and when she has to give grades to the students.<\/p>\n
She uses English when she teaches her students and when she has foreign visitors.<\/p>\n
Her piece of advice to our students: Never give up, everything that happens in life has a meaning if you want to find out what it is.<\/p>\n
Her plans for the summer are to clean her home, to read, and meet her friends and family.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
